BOUESTI Vice-Chancellor Prof. Andrew Omojola, Promises Students a Conducive Learning Environment
The Vice-Chancellor of BOUESTI, Prof. Andrew Omojola, has assured students of a peaceful and conducive environment to enhance their learning experience.
Speaking at the University’s matriculation ceremony, Prof. Omojola expressed his gratitude to the University management and warmly welcomed the newly admitted students, their parents, and guests to the special occasion. He emphasized the University’s commitment to ensuring security and a peaceful atmosphere for learning.
Addressing the students, the Vice-Chancellor advised them to express their opinions to the management respectfully and to avoid violence and social vices. He warned that students who violate the University’s rules and regulations will face strict consequences.
Prof. Omojola highlighted that the institution values hard work, discipline, and dedication. He encouraged students to remain upright in character, diligently pursue their studies, and acquire practical skills for self-reliance. He further reiterated that cultism, indecent dressing, examination malpractice, and bullying are strictly prohibited.
This academic session, no fewer than 6,920 students matriculated into the University. During the ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor also commended the efforts and achievements of the State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji , for his support of education in the state.
He urged the matriculants to be committed to their studies, congratulated them once again, and officially welcomed them to the University.
