The Union also appreciates Aspirants for displaying high level of sportsmanship before, during and after the elections held on December 1, 2025.
Feedback from different Schools/Departments show active participation by members and contest of robust ideas through manifesto aimed at developing the system. For emphasis, this is how elections in academic environment like ours should be; credible and rancour free.
The Union appeal to members in School and Department where bye-election will be conducted on Wednesday to turn out en masse to complete the process.
We urge winners to be magnanimous in victory, extend hands of fellowship to their fellow contestants and implement their manifestos as promised during the electioneering process.
The Union implore Aspirants who did not emerge to forge ahead and support elected officials in their respective Schools and Departments. There would still be another opportunity in the future. After all, 3 years is around the corner. Election is over, let's work together in love and unity.
