This step is critical for candidates to confirm their admission status and take necessary actions to secure their placements.

Steps to Check Admission Status on JAMB CAPS

Visit the JAMB e-Facility Portal
Go to the JAMB e-Facility portal by entering the following address in your browser: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/. This portal is where all admission-related information is accessible for JAMB-registered candidates.

Login to Your JAMB Profile
Once on the JAMB portal, log in using your registered email address and password. These credentials should match those used during your JAMB registration. After successfully logging in, you will be directed to your JAMB dashboard, where you can access the admission status features.

Navigate to Admission Status

  • From your dashboard, locate and click on Check Admission Status.
  • Select Access my CAPS. This will open your JAMB CAPS portal, which is specifically designated for admission and clearance purposes.
  • Click on Admission Status. This section will reveal whether or not ABSU has offered you admission.

Candidates are encouraged to complete these steps promptly to confirm their admission status and finalize their university enrollment.

Candidates who have been offered admission should proceed to either “ACCEPT” or “REJECT” the admission offer. This action is essential to confirm or decline the placement, allowing ABSU to process the final admission lists. Accepting the offer confirms your intention to join ABSU, while rejecting it will release the spot to another candidate. Make sure to respond promptly to secure or officially decline your admission.
